My Drug Dealer Hooked Me Up With A Job!

This is based on a complete lie. No one in this story is real or plays an unreal person on any form of digital media…. allegedly.

This time last year I was locked in my apartment going crazy! I just received my first unemployment & stimulus deposits, and I was one of the few lucky people in California (aside from the people who scammed the state out of $30 billion dollars in stimulus money) who as I filed for unemployment the week before the country shut down. One week later: I received an email from my boss letting everyone know the venue where I worked as a stage hand was shutting down for good. I received my first check two weeks later… my 2nd one month.

Well with $6,000 in hand I did what most people did… I stocked up on the essentials: weed, acid, shrooms, & alcohol. I live in The City of Angeles which has been looking more and more like hell over the past 10yrs. Anyway I made a phone call to my local entrepreneur because 2 of the 4 items are not available to the public via Amazon, Target, Walmart or any other government approved essential business.

Let me say my guy is a pro, because I have never met him/her/they/them/they’re. Contacting my dealer is not easy because Their doesn’t have a phone number to text or call, but the method of communication we use is quite sophisticatedly simple I am unwilling to divulge any part of the process: mostly out of fear. I’m not gonna lie I think they are a current/former counter intelligence officer and I’m well aware they know where I live. With that said; I enjoy the clandestine “package” exchanges, because I meet a different person at different locations around the city.

Anyway, the individual I met during this exchange was quite chatty because of how crazy things were because of the pandemic. As I was getting ready to leave she asked if I would be interested in attending a job fair in Torrence. I said yes so fast, she laughed out loud saying, “You don’t even know what the job is or how much it pays.” I said I didn’t care as long as it payed well and there was a steady paycheck I was down! She laughed again handing me a card with a hand written name and number.

That is how I got my job working for a covid-19 test lab where I still work. I’m no longer at the lab but in the field testing people for covid-19 at various locations around Los Angeles.
